Hi,

Im a new member of the site - I've recently retrained in the beauty industry so I can leave my stressful job behind and spend time with my little ones and work mobile round my family

I have read a few posts about this but I cant quite find the answer so wondered if anyone can help.

I sculpt rather than use tips, and am trying to achieve the perfect P&W smile line. Against the form the smile line looks great, however when I add the pink I may have a dent in the top and the smile line isnt sharp, either that or I think I work too quick and the white isnt set enough and i smudge it......

How long should I be waiting before applying the pink? And is there a good way of ensuring that the smile line is perfect on the top layer rather than just the bottom.

I've watched tutorials and seen the 'reverse' technique and wondering if that is worth considering?

Im stuggling to find a product I really like, bit of a novice and was trained with Noveau Nails. Its nice powder, and very fine and 'silky' but the clear isn't clear without buffing it and there arent many colours.

I tried Naio Nails, but think it is quite gritty - when I pick up the bead instead of it looking silky it seems a bit rough no matter what the consistency.

Im now thinking of NSI as have been given loads of NSI colours......

What do you recommend?

Gosh long post, sorry!

Hi I use nsi with no problems I love it you use it medium wet beads x

When you pick up a bead it should be a bit grainy then wait a few seconds and it smoothest out Hun.xx

Hi,

Everytime I change I have to change the liquid also.

Costing me a fortune!

I am considering a clear sculpt with P&W layer over the top, maybe that will give me more control as the white is thinner, easier to set? I don't know??!?!? Trial and error I guess......

x

Try working from zone 3 upwards so you would do the cuticle then zone two making it how you want it then do zone one with the White x

NSI also do fast setpowders so if you feel your working too fast is causing an issue, you could try those :d xxx
