Smooth polish

Does buffing the nail properly have a huge affect on the polishing job, because i can't seem to get a super perfect polishing done with acrylic nails? I always have small bumps on top.

Your ultimate aim is to do all the work with your brush with your application - if you can perfect that, you'll have much less work to do

But yes, shape with a coarser file then go to higher grit files & buffers till the nail is smooth

Remember any bumps you can see before polish will look far worse after!
