I had a client who wanted gel overlays and an extension on one of her snapped nails as she didn't want them all filing down, I did my best to make it look natural and I'm pretty happy with it but it has snapped! I do some really long extensions and they don't snap unless they have been caught badly or something because they all have a proper apex but to make this natural looking it barely had an apex but it was so short? It did have more of an apex but she said it didn't look natural enough so I filed it down a bit. I always see videos of nail repairs like this with a very thin apex, is it just something that isn't practical in real life? She said she did it putting on her shoe, she hasn't complained but I do know her quite well.

It was just too thin :)

It's impossible to get it to look the same thickness and shape as the other nails that had no enhancements on , it has to be thicker at the apex for strength.

When done to all 10 fingers it can look very natural, not on just one though, you will see a slight change ;)

Ok I will just explain that and apologise, thank you! x
