Soak off clips

Just wondering if anyone uses soak off clips to take their gel off.
I tend to do a lot of acrylic with shellac over them, to take it off quickly, this helps, it just lifts the shellac off. But not the acrylic.
Does anyone else do this?
Also would people say it’s okay to do? It won’t affect the acrylic ?

I can’t comment on the acrylic but I use them to take off my own and clients gel polish

I wouldn’t recommending soaking off gel polish over acrylic as it will start to soften the acrylic.
It can quickly be buffed off with a file
