This is all about unwanted colour. So here's the deal: Two and a half weeks ago I had medium brown (dyed) hair and I decided I want my natural colour back (medium blonde with all different colours of highlights and lowlights). So I used Colour B4. I had used it about a year ago in the exact same situation and it worked perfectly. However, after the first application tihs time it was auburn. I tried again a week later and it went ginger. I don't mind being ginger, I just don't like having blonde roots with it, plus this obviously isn't my goal. So this evening (a week later still) I applied a Nice 'n Easy dye in a medium blonde. I did it exactly as instructed and it hasn't done anything. It's literally had no effect on the colour of my hair. My question is, am I right in thinking I'll have to bleach it and then dye it? And if I go to the hair dresser will she be able to that in one treatment rather than two?

If you've got this far thank you so much for reading. Any advice is much appreciated :)

A lot of hairdressers will offer a complimentary colour consultation, go have a chat and they'll be able to tell you

Best thing to do is book in for a consultation, they will be able to access the condition of your hair and tell you what's possible

No one can give you an answer on her as it's a pro site

This forum is for professionals only hun you won't get any advise from any of the geeks!
My only advise to you would be to stop using dreadful products like colour b4 and nice & easy and go to a professional hairdresser to do your hair!

Make sure you tell the hairdresser exactly what products you've applied to your hair. ColourB4 often reacts badly with professional tint and your hairdresser will need to do a strand test to check. If you don't tell them everything and it goes badly wrong, you won't have a leg to stand on!
If you keep applying more home based chemical treatments, you risk your hair turning into candy floss and breaking off.
You didn't get the results you were expecting after using ColourB4 and applying another colour so that should already flag up as a warning to you that your hair condition is already severely compromised.
