Hi
Does anyone happen to know if Nail harmony or any other branded courses are included for getting a special treatment license in London to work from home?
Have asked for a call back from the council but no joy so far!
Thanks

To obtain a special treatment licence - if your council requires one - you will need to apply, which involves more than you would expect!o_O
I had to include to scale drawings of my shop, fire exit's, basin proximity to the nail station, ventilation, toilet facilities, etc......
The nail tech had to produce her qualifications and passport.
Our fee was £400,00...but it differs from borough to borough....
Annoyingly, 5 minutes down the road, a different borough, and they don't need a licence!

I know ridiculously annoying! I only want to work from home but I’m unsure what they class as a valid qualification. I’ve read that some people are trained with CND, nail harmony etc and they can’t get a license as it’s not an NVQ qualification so I just wondered what people’s experiences was. Was your nail tech NVQ trained?

I believe it had to be an NVQ or equivalent.....but do double check.
My tech had her NVQ. and had also trained with C.N.D.;)
