Spotty scalp

Hey hair geeks,

Wondering for some advise my boyfriend has a very spotty/scabby scalp. . Can anyone tell me the cause of this?

If there is no infestation present, then it will be the same reasons that people get spotty skin. He may be slightly allergic to his shampoo or styling product. He may have an oily, reactive scalp, or it could be a mild eczma.

Possibly foliculitis? best to check with GP though.
