Hiya!!!!
Been to Olympia, spent waaaay too much (£450), bought Moorspa products and I've decided to take on that St Tropez offer for £221. But now I'm thiking, will anybody be still interested inhaving the old fashioned way of tanning instead of spray??? I'm having second thoughts, pehaps /i shouldn't have bought it.
What do you think?
Jules

I trained with St Tropez self tan and in my opinion there is far to much faffing about. Exfoliating, mositurising, mixing the tan with mosituriser for the face, blending, buffing, drying and then a bit more buffing. Takes anywhere between 45mins to an hour. Much rather prefere the idea of having a quick spray tan in my lunch break and still having time to get qucik coffee. xx

I offer St Tropez Auto Bronzant as well as Tantrick Spray Tanning. I would say Spray tanning is more popular but the Auto bronzant is a more luxurious treatment and a brand name that clients instantly recognise as it is Celeb endorsed. I dont promote mine as much as I should because I find Spray tanning quicker and easier but I do still have clients who prefer it.

Your right Nemo it is a nice treatment have, the products are lush and they do leave your skin feeling and smelling lovely

I agree i prefer the final finish as well to be honest.... Its nicer having that time to relax and have an exfoliating treatment too..

I trained with ST Tropez and there is a lot of messing around as mentioned and the treatment does take about an hour to exfoliate etc,I have found that because time is such a big issue for most people that in all honesty most would prefer a spray tan.We just have not got the room in our salon, even for a pop up tent so I'm afraid spray tanning is just not an option for us.Saying this we do still have a few clients wanting the St Tropez tan.

Hi,
I offer both tantrick spray tan and St Tropez original lotion application.I find that younger clients go for spray tan and older clients go for St tropez but in my opinion St tropez also suits people with dryer skin better and also wears better on them.
Both are great and can work well along side each other.

I'm cheap....when I have time I just lay out :)

I was going to get that offer too!!!! Then a very good friend of mine managed to talk me out of it.....(and a load of other stuff too!!!!)

I really want spray tanning in my salon but I liked the idea of 'the name' St Tropez. I thought it would attract clients. I thought it would be another string to my bow, but as my friend pointed out....'Why was it LESS than half price?' Maybe it is not as popular as it used to be. After much thought I decided against it.....thanks Sass!!!!!!!!!!

I have only ever used St.Tropez on myself as i love the colour as its a really deep brown. I have never had a spray tan so i can't comment on that although i keep meaning to do the course (never get round to booking it!)

How long do spray tans last for ? and is the colour as dark as St.Tropez ?

That such a shame. Were Tantrick there? I have heard great things about them, the mini mist would be great. The payment plan is excellent too?

I do know what you mean about wanting the spray tanning system instead of the manual application St Tropez.

I've such a small room I work from that the spray tanning was well out of the question.

I do however love the St Tropez and customers do too. I think they are a good company and offer great support from advertising and great offers you can also get involved with.

I've found that it does last really well especially if you do follow the after care suggestions. I've also found that you can retail really well because of this.

I once had a spray tan and never again, well certainly that system (fantasy tan)! I'm so pale and she put a "light" coloured lotion on me and I was really dark brown. Nearly didn't go to my friends wedding because my hubby said it was that bad and he wouldn't go with me!

Anyway just advertise like mad - best time of year to do it too!

Best of Luck

I got st. tropez ultimate air in my salon last month and the response has been amazing. clients love it and the aftercare i have had from st. tropez has been brill.
