Hey, ive been an aspiring nail technician for some time now but just honestly dont know where to start! I origionally wanted to do acrylics and looking into courses but they were so many and it completely baffled me as to who to trust etc. I was practicing acrlyics for some time on my own but couldnt decide which course to do and who to do it with.

I was then bought a UV gel system for xmas (it was a rio one from argos) its a 15 Watt lamp but ive been struggling with this and the gel doesnt seem to be great! So basically ive been experimenting with the two.

I need help on suggested companies to train with, i was thinking the UK training solutions its £375 + vat for manicure, gel, acrlyic and a gel polish! I'm from Hull so not wanting to travel far, was even considering doing an online course but unsure...

Also need help with my UV gel system, is 15 Watt lamp any good? it says apply 3 layers and cure for 3 mins each time but the gel just seems to peel off within a day! so ive been curing for 5 mins each time.

Im completely in the dark here and want to get qualified asap so any help would be fab! thankyou :p

CND training is excellent!
The gel/lamp you are using is not professional so that is probably why it is peeling off.
Thanks.

How do i go about training with CND? It's very difficult to find online and presuming i would have to do the manicure qualification and then the acrlyic one. What Watt lamp do you think i should have? Where should i purchase?
Thanks!

hi, you need to contact sweet squared for training in cnd, there are loads of training centres across country, if you are serious about doing nails then you need to make sure you get some good quality training. wot you have isnt a professional system and wont give you very good results. most lamps are 36 watts for most systems......

good luck on your journey, it takes time and lost of practice to get really good but so worth it in the end to do something that you love
