i'm starting to learn how to do the Shellac nails and i want to start doing it from home, but my problem is i dont know if i should use CND products or use Blue Sky?! i'm pushed towards Blue Sky because its so so sooo much cheaper than CND but i dont want to waste money in the long run if i do use Blue Sky? should i spend that little bit extra on CND products? help!!

You shouldn't even consider BS Shellac.

Welcome to Salon Geek

You will find many posts and threads on Salon Geek relating to Bluesky (the search button will help you to find them).

In the meantime, to ensure that you are acquiring the genuine article, always make your purchases through an authorised distributor.

What's cheap will end up costing you dear ... take advice from other Nail Professionals who already use and endorse Shellac, make your investment in the real thing and acquire it (and training if you so wish) through CND.

There was a colour id been after for ages and saw it on a selling site, so i bought it without thinking if it was genuine, opened my package looked the right stuff used it as it was rubbish, smelt very strong too. I looked closer and saw a difference to my genuine bottle so i contacted the seller and he said its the same its just not made by them, i said no its not the same and its rubbish as i know that as i am an experienced nail tech soooo lesson learned, they really target the less experienced tech, saying its the same! Its so not! and to be honest why on earth call it shellac or gelish?

avoid rubbish like that x
