Hi,
I'm a level 3 medium/dark brown naturally.
I have blonde highlights using wella (not sure which colours)
I think my hairdresser uses the 12 range and bleach.

Having very dark roots, I feel my hair is constantly rooty, dark shows underneath and in between. I don't want to be a light blonde just that more natural honey blonde that Jennifer aniston sports. Which darker girls can seem to pull off.

My hair is completely broken around the front and it's getting worse.
I asked her to tone my hair once to lift the base and roots (which it did) but she was very reluctant

Can anybody on here offer their professional advice on what you'd use on my hair to achieve the look I've desired for years with no success.

Thanks

Do you have a picture of your hair? X

Hope this helps

If you want Jennifer Anniston's hair colour, as a stylist I would apply an all over warmer blonde colour and leave out some highlights for you. Have you been for a consultation with a few stylists? X

To maintain a perfect honey blonde on such dark hair, for an all over tint with a few light à la Aniston, you'd need to touch up regrowth every 3or 4 weeks.
If you stay at just highlights, a full head of regrowth hi lites every 8 weeks will stop that horrible rooty look.

Ok thank you, I'm too worried to leave my current hair dresser. (Family friend)

Any suggestions of what wella colours to use to achieve this?

We cannot give non professionals the details of particular shades. Go to your stylist with the picture of Jennifer Aniston and they should be able to choose the appropriate course of action. Either that or go for consultations elsewhere as somebody suggested. X
