Stuck on what to do need help (hair)

So I have a client with long hair she's got Virgin hair but a couple greys..... she want me to freshen up her brown but stick a few blonde through it half way down almost balayage... I'm stuck on wether to use a blonde tint and a brown or bleach and a brown also Im not sure on application as if I bleach them half way down they won't be straight across so once I've folded the foil and applied tint it may not reach all the brown I want to cover as foil will be in the way how do I apply the brown from the blonde up I'm in need of some ideas thanks in advance x

So smaller blonde section would do it as in lots of different heights of foils yea

It sounds like Balyage the client wants rather than foils? To do the balayge you'd do the roots colour first & then blend the bleach into it
