Hi!!

I am a bit concerned about my skincare / tanning routine. I live in Spain and absolutely love the sun, I'm in it every day pretty much from April -October. I always put a high factor cream on my face but not the rest of my body. I cleanse, tone and moisturise.

I'm worried about skin cancer, ageing etc now so need some advice and which sun cream is best. I realise if you are in sun every day it is very bad for you regardless.

Thank you!!

Amber xxxx

I have friends from Spain who now live in South Africa and she has a gorgeous skin color which I am envious of. However I swear almost within like 2 years she and her husband have aged. I attribute this to constant sunbathing as they come from warm climate and lie in sun all day and live on beach cottage.
It's fine while your in your youth but it will hit you when you later 30 or 40.
Products can help hit nothing really will stop unless you limit your sun exposure.

Wear a big hat and sunglasses which help you to avoid screwing your eyes in the sun. This helps.
Also use a hydrating body gel or lotion after your shower in evening to rehydrate and exfoliate on a regular basis.

You should try add a skin or facial mask and scrub into your facial regime if possible. Best would be to book with a beauty therapist and have a consultation and product chat . Most salons have skin analysis machines and some even have the ones which can read show you sun damage and pigmentation which I find helpful so you as client can see if products helping.

I had a facial last week and didn't get much info back to be honest, same about over exposure and wearing lots of cream. Is it OK to use body scrubs / exfoliate when you are in the sun alot? Xx
