Hello,i am new to the spray tanning thing, i am nail tech wanting to add to my services. I am going on the tantrick nail course tomorow, and was hoping for some advice and experience. Think i have to geta tan done myself, but i dont have a bikini, only a swimmer, will this be ok? Oh and was wondering which machine you think is the best? Minimist or the pro? I will be mainly doing mobile and sometimes salon? Thanks in advance? x

glad to hear your doing the Tantrick course and good luck....dont wory about your bits the trainer will have disposable thongs for you to wear..
If you are thinking of going both mobile and spraying in a salon probably best if you go for the minimist mobile and a pop up tent...this machine is robust and easily carried about...by the way this kit now comes with a Tantrick carry holdall...

It is quite usual for you to have a spray tan yourself if you are training with another student. If you are training on one2one you could take a model along with you so you can spray the tan on them, and you wouldn't necessarily need to have a tan yourself if you didn't want to have one. You can also wear what ever you feel comfortable with, a swimsuit is fine or you could wear your bra and briefs or what ever, just your briefs if you so wish. A bikini is suggested just so that you can bring one if you would like to do.
I have both the Minimist and the Minimist Pro. I used to use the Minimist when I first started out and found it to be a good little machine, very handy for doing mobile work. It is not great at doing a lot of tans one after the other, so if doing tanning parties you would need to give it a little time to cool between tans, but this is normally ok when the guests are getting dressed and undressed between tans.
The Minimist Pro is also good for mobile (small enough and doesnt weigh too much to put in the back of your car) but it is also a 'work horse' and can spray all day quite happily, so you get best of both worlds with this one, mobile and salon use.
