Hi girls and guys
I've had tape in hair extensions in for 5 weeks tomorrow... and I'm not best pleased.
Before bleaching my hair it was always lovely and long, so never felt the need for extensions! I'm fairly new to them
For Christmas I decided to have some tape ins put in!
Being new, I didn't really know what to expect but followed everything that the lady that put them in said!
I'm so happy with the quality of hair, maybe not so much the installation though!
I've already visited her once, having had two slide completely out! And I'm currently sat here, having had SIX fall out just whilst brushing through my hair! She told me they would last up to 4 months if I look after them well... WHICH I HAVE BEEN DOING! - yet 5 weeks later, here we are!
she even checked the rest when she retaped the other two that fell out... I asked her when I will need a full head retape and she said they have hardly grown and I've got at least another month yet! THIS WAS ONLY LAST WEEK
I notice them lifting at the ends when running my fingers through my hair/combing them and then the next time I give them a proper good brush they slide off in my hands...
Has anyone got any advice for me? Is it something to do with her? HELP:eek:

Is it usually when you brush them? Are you brushing right up to the scalp? You should hold the hair at the top and brush through the ends to take any tension off the roots.
If you're doing that already is it that you're getting excess conditioner on the roots causing slippage?

If not, it may well be the fitting, do you have any pics?x

Hey

I payed over $600 to have tapes in - what a waste of money! They came out after the first few days I rung her and I didn't even go back. Tapes are one of the worst - they ruin your hair - they fall out so quick - you can hardly wear hair up with having them in as this just pulls on your natural hair.

I recommend you just take them out and try and sell them - if u want your money back of course. Look at gettin micro weave by far the best application of extensions!

Xx
