I think it's the weft but there's a glue that you buy and basically glue it along.......I think lol x

Tape extensions are nothing like wefts that you glue in, they are loads thinner nd flatter, basically like a piece of sticky tape with hair attached you put the natural hair in between and stick another piece on top ( not very technical but I can't really explain it) and they are only 2 to 4 cm wide x
