Technical help with iPhone please

My phones running sooo slowly it's driving me nuts!

A few sites I've been on recently have said they use cookies, is this the problem? Also if I clear cookies & cache and data, will it get rid of my contacts and all my texts?

Do you close your programmes often or do you leave them open this will jam your phone up . And no cookies are not contacts and you should clear them often

Close your open apps by double tapping the 'home' button then swipe each open app upwards off the screen.

Also, if your phone is constantly checking for updates, I think that will slow things.

What about data clearing?

My mum died a while back and I know it's daft but I still have all our last texts on my phone and am anxious not to lose them.

Go on settings safari then clear history and website data will only delete all the websites you've views recently

Settings - Background App refresh. Then turn it off. It helps preserve the battery life as well as limiting your Mb usage if you're on a limited internet allowance.

No cookies and cache are your web browsing history. Data may be totally different. I'd go into a phone shop. They know me at mine so I go there for everything x

You will know as soon as you go on the internet again wether it's stored anything or not I think that is the cookies they've changed all the wording of things on one of the updates there used to be one for just cookies but I think it's all in that one I told you to do x
