terrified of complaint!

i did my first set of bonded hair extensions yesterday client loved them but i got the hair from lush us for the first time it was number 1 so jet black but when i was setting all the hair out it was tangling together a bit and when i brushed them some hair was shedding im terrified client will come back and say theyr matted etc and shedding is that normal before you put them in? is that normal beofre you apply them and what should i do if she does come back because itl look like my fault as she knows she was my first client for that method so shel assume its my application when its the hair xxx
