Hi everyone !
So iv been doing nails for the past 15/16 years and have in the past had the odd greenie appear normally when a clients has tried to glue a nail down if they have lost one. I know the drill, treat sanatise and throw away file etc etc.
But Just recently i have had loads pop up! I have a greenie apearing on at least one client a day! And on clients that have never ever had issues before. I consider myslf to be very on top of hygiene , sanatiseing etc... but this has got me stumped!! Everytime someone has one there appears to be no livt where the water /bacteria has got in, only really a pocket lift ans really really green!
Its really getting me down now and i really have no idea! The only thing i have changed is my product, and i was confident i got the application down and cofrect ratio but now im considering going back to my previous brand. Not sure what im hoping to get from this post but feel lik÷ giving up!

Don't loose heart, I think its maybe the weather ! I've been doing nails for ten years & I had my first 2 greenies on seperate clients last month, I blame global warming haha [emoji23]

If it's only started when you changed products, there's part of your answer.
This new product is obviously lifting more, allowing moisture in. Perhaps you are using the same ratio technique as your previous brand which doesn't suit this new product? Are you using the new brands full range of products, correct primer etc etc...
If it's happening with almost every client. Somethings not working. I would have at a guess, that it's your ratio of this different product.

I knew when taking the new product on that the ratio was A lot different and thought personally I had managed it as I don't get lifting and the product stays fine on clients, but as I said on my op when the greenie appears there seems to be no lifting which is the strange part! There's a slight pocket lift at the green area but nothing at the sides to left the moisture in. If I can get a picture of one I will post it to show what I mean.
And yes I use all the brands products. My prep is very thorough .

Heat was something I didn't consider actually as it is very warm and I'm mobile so in a lot of stuffy houses
