Can any hair geeks help. I have long hair that reaches my mid back and its always falling out everywhere its been that way for years but recently its been shedding much more and i'm terrified every time i wash it as i end up pulling huge clumps out of the plug hole. I've noticed it much thinner at the roots as well. Getting married in november and just opened my beauty salon so very stressed so this could be a reason. Anyone got any advice on treatment that might help. Thanks 😘

How is your diet at the moment, I put myself on a very limited and ridiculously low calorie diet when I was a teenager and lost a lot of weight quickly which resulted in my hair falling out and becoming much thinner. The bath or shower would be full of hair when I washed it. That in itself shocked me into eating more normally again and it recovered quickly.
I didn't do anything else differently, it was from lack of nutrients during the natural hair cycle.

Aveda invati is a must!! Such a break through product it helped me so much look on google at the testimonials if you go to an aveda salon you can get a free sample at the moment ! X

Remember that hair has three stages of growth, and it's normal to loose 150 hairs a day, it's much more noticeable when your hair is long. 😄
Think about it like this, what would you tell a client with this issue to do :)
Here is what I say,
Hair developeds in 3 stages on a 7 year cycle, catagen, anagen, telegen.
The stage of hair falling out is always happening and it's never timed the same as the hair next to it. The more you stress the more hair will fall out, stop stressing about the loss of hair and try to eat healthy and excercise :) using a good scalp cleaner is always a plus 😉 hope you feel better after reading this, I've been where you are and I know it's hard.

Oh and I'm not bald and it's been 15 years 😝

Thanks everyone for your advice. A friend recommended a kerastase shampoo. So i think i'll try to get a sample of the aveda one as well and give them both a go. I'll also try not to stress but thats easier said than done x
