How long do you take to do a new set of acrylic extensions with gel polish colour + design? Trying to understand if I am a slow coach :D I am perfectionist and it drives me nuts :D

It takes me between 1.30 mins and 1.45 mins depending on my client and what they are having on xx

It takes me about 1hr 45 minutes to 2 hours for a full set, at first it was taking me 3 hours [emoji16]

1.10 to 1:45 mins depending upon design

Yeah I am about 2 hours and over. Slow coach... :(

How do you build your speed?

Depending on what art the client want I take anything between an hour and hour half. Speed is built up with practice and being organised. I've been doing this for 9 years now so lots of practice lol

I am not patient :D I suppose I haven't done enough acrylic sets. I've been doing hard gels mostly.

I'm new at it also! But hard gel... Takes me 2hrs sometimes a bit longer :(

Most of my appointments are L&P so I'm doing one set after another. My timing has only recently reduced as I've been much busier.
I also have everything ready for my client arriving.

I take 1.5-2 hours depending on design
I recently had a client that wanted a specific shape and I sculpted and then when it was all filed and done they decided they wanted pointy I was so rattled [emoji30][emoji30][emoji30]

Omg a shame! I like when customers come knowing what they want and stick to it. Sometimes it takes so much time for them to decide.

It feels like it takes me a week lol x

My top tip would be to do it early on in the day don't do them at night as your going to be little bit slower then and lighting isn't the best and I seem to be faster earlier on in the day

I've got little one and my husband is working during the day, he is home around 4pm and that's when I start doing nails :D and I have noticed that when I am doing nails in the morning (for family or friends) I do them faster.

Also I've noticed if u pay alot of attention to the time you end up slower so does talking a lot it's ok to have quiet times to just crack on

I do feel awkward when it's absolutely silent so I put music on normally :)
