Hey everyone,
Hope you are well!
I am looking for some advice about Dialight!
I worked on a brunette who is a natural 5/6 with warm skin (some olive tones as well). She wanted a very natural sun kissed looked so I did a balayage which lightened her to a level 7/8. I applied L'Oreal Dialight 7.31 to tone her hair as I thought this would prevent brassiness and yellow undertone for a natural look. I also didn't want a toner that would be too ashy because of her olive undertones. Thought 7.31 would be perfect too keep her in the warm side without the brassiness. The result is a sandy dark blonde which fades with her natural color but she thinks it is brassy (((.. which I honestly can't see at all and that is why I am reaching out for your help guys. Should I have use an other toner? 8N or maybe even 7.12 and let it just for few minutes before rinsing so it doesn't turn her too ashy? Any advice welcome,
thank you for reading!
