Hello, I'm very new!

I've always been interested in hair, make up and nails and now I have two young children (well, one will be going to school in September!) I feel like now is the time to do something about my love for beauty and set up my own business doing gel nails.

Obviously I would like to do a course to prove I know what I'm doing. Could anyone recommend a course to me? I've seen the Gateway website which seems to be very good. Courses are about £150, is that normal?

Apart from a course specialising in gel nails and buying all the equipment I need, is there anything I need to do before setting up a business?

Many thanks for your advice in advance, sorry if I sound totally thick :grr:

CND and Nail Harmony are two of the best for training in all things nails.

You'll also need insurance to cover you to do the treatments but you won't be able to get that until you pass your course., there are loads of threads on here about good insurance companies. Xxx
