Tried to dye pre-lightened hair red but went darkest brown

Anyway I had pre lightened my hair to a lght ginger colour in order to dye my hair red. It was a box dye called intense red. Definitely wasnt intense red and it has made my hair very dark brown almost black with a littke hint of red barely noticeable.

Can anyone tell me why its not worked looking to go like cheryl cole colour. X

I know you do extensions but are you a qualified hairdresser?

I asssume by intense red you mean something bought in a box from a supermarket type thing?

Your hair was probably left pourous after the lightening, this is why these thing are best left to salon work especially colour correction.

Hi no Im not a hairdresser, im a qualified extensionist, so have little knowlege of colouring hair. Done my hair before worked grwat but tried a box dye this time. I have booked with hair dresser to work her magic. Thank you for your helop x
