My unicorn glitter has just come. The instructions online say to use a non tacky topcoat but when I apply the powder it just slides off!
What am I doing wrong

My Halo from magpie beauty just slides off a non wipe top coat so I use a regular gel top coat, dry wipe it and then apply the powder, so maybe try that? Some top coats have a different amount of sticky inhibition layer so can take a bit of playing around to get it right, I use ibd and INK and Halo works much better with one than the other after dry wiping.

Thank for your reply. Please can you tell me what 'dry wipe' means?

try a 50% alcohol 50% water solution to remove the sticky layer from normal gel then go over that =) should leave just enough stick for the glitter

You could try flash curing the top coat for about 30 seconds and then apply . :)

For the hologram powder use a tacky top coat and then top coat and cure x
