using moroccan oil

Hi leia74,
I have never put Moroccan Oil on before I colour but I have coloured hair which as Moroccan Oil from regular use and had no problems, if it is very porous I think it does help, the company say it does stop fading. But I have also shampooed hair that is over loaded with Moroccan Oil before I colour because it seems to 'full' to colour.
I have never used it when perming - don't do that many (thank heaven) so not an issue for me.

Thanks for your reply. Sounds like it does more good than harm. Will be perming my cousins hair next week. I think I'll get her to treat her hair with the oil a couple of times beforehand. I will post again after it's done.

I would try it, specially if the hair is not in great condition, like you say a few times before to improve condition - I love Moroccan Oil and think it is a wonder product so look forward to hearing how it goes.
