Hi All,

I have a set of permanent 20 inch of microbead extensions which I hate using heat on but if i dont it looks abit silly as my natural hair doesnt blend in neatly unless i style it.

I have purchased some velcro rollers from superdrug (all i can afford atm) and my plan was going to be to stick the rollers in every night so i have curly blended hair without any heat?

My question is really, can you use velcro rollers on permanent hair extensions? Would they be damaged? Is the best way of doing this sleeping with them in?

Please advise and I will try out any ideas later tonight

Thankyou in advance!

You can buy sleep in ones although I wouldn’t advise it with extensions, normal Velcro ones should be fine in the day as long as you dry the roots

So only wear them for a few hours in the day rather than sleep in them?

I just tested one out in the bathroom at work (bare in mind my hair needs brushing and washing) and it got really stuck in my hair :( not sure if its just because i quickly bunged one in as a tester before I get home later or if its a warning sign that i shouldnt use them...

Yeah you need to take neat tidy extensions and brush before, if it is getting stick then I wouldn’t use them

Thankyou, as I say the one I put in at work was just a tester - my plan was to go home and wash it, mostly dry and then brush before I tried them so I will have to see later if they still get stuck or not
