hi all

just picking your geeky brains yet again....

Lady has bleached hair (to within an inch of it's life really) with roots coming through (base 5) and orange patches through, and her hair is very porus. what would u rec for the client?
I use matrix and advised client to use the leave in treatments and also to start restructurizing treatments. I was also thinking of taking client to a darker blonde with 10vol, or do u think i should just put an ash over to neutralise the brassy parts?

thanks xx

I expected at least 1 reply......anyone......?

I think a toner /quasi would be a good idea. Because you dont want to bleach and make further damage. And a good cut!

There are some nice oils out at the moment. I like macadamia oil from capital. They have a whole range of products. My hair has never felt so soft and conditioned. You can put the oil in your colours, so I've heard.

Also, bonacure oil, is supposed to be amazing.

Go for a darker blonde so it's one even colour all through, yes you can also put a spot of oil in with your colours but it will change the consistency of colours and if anything was to go wrong with your colour, the company won't do anything so be careful, I put it in with bleach sometimes.

I always just use one pump of oil in my quasi when I'm refreshing my hair. it just seems to give it a moisture and shine boost. :D

IF using all matrix products : Use protopak 5+ or cera repair, use a toner, use total results moisture, it'll add layers upon layers of hyradration to the hair. then sleek wonder oil when styling. To be fair the morraccan oil is the best, it is very noticable. hths xoxo
