Have you seen the hair? Taken test pieces?

I'd pre-pig gold, 7.4 or 7.44 is quite a nice colour. A girl at work I done 7.4 6% all over with slices of Copper 9%. You could add a bit of 0.400 to your all over mix.

sorry im reading and querying as i go. . . why would you pre pgig a base 5-6 with gold before putting on a copper tint? not questioning your methods btw jus never heard of pre piggin natural brown hair. . x

To keep the copper I guess. I have just gone over that in my head and questioned myself. I guess I'm thinking of a real intense copper. Pfft. Ignore me lol.

ok im afraid of root glow!!7/4 she clearly wants a copper but rich also not orange..so maybe 7/4 and half of 6 and dash of cpper tone on roots??half of 7/4 with quarter 6 and dash of copper tone
on ends??????

7.4 with 20 vol will show but be soft copper. Do midlengths/ ends first, process for 20, then apply to root area. Don't put base in unless she has grey, in which case you would add 7.3 as base. Always use golden bases with warm colours when covering grey. If you put base 6 in it would almost completely kill the copper!

I know this originally wasn't my thread, but thanks for this advice persianista.

I am always wary when it comes to copper/red colours as I rarely use them.
Always good to know.
