Want to become a hair colour technician can't find the right course?!

Hi,
Im currently working as a receptionist in a salon and want to become a colourist but dont want to spend yrs on cutting training/apprenticship etc.
Does anybody know of any NVQ colouring courses or any ways i could train within weeks/months that would help me to find work in salon..??.?

Some colleges offer fast track 1 year adult hairdressing courses that will give you a hairdressing qualification. You would still have to pass the basic cuts to qualify.

However, after the course, you could look into a more in-depth colour training through one of the main colour houses, Matrix, Loreal, Wella etc.

You can't do a Hairdressing NVQ just in colour though.
