My I would say my colour is a 6 base. I have tried using different colors / brands before but it came out quite dark so looked brown rather than purplely. I will be using Wella Colour touch and wondered what would be the best mix:

66/45 Dark Intense Red Mahogany Blonde and 0/56 Mahogany Violet
5/66 Light Intense Violet Brown and 0/56 Mahogany Violet (would this come out bright purple)
55/54 Light Intense Mahogany Red Brown and 0/56 Mahogany Violet

Not sure of ratios though?

or any other suggestions would be great

Thank you

Are you a hairdresser?

No but the forum says

Consumer Queries Not a salon professional (or aspiring one!) but need some professional advice?

So does it matter?

There were two posts, one you'd put in the hair forum. I was just checking!

However, we still can't give you details of professional use chemicals. The only advice we can give is to visit a salon, or your local hairdressing college.

Consumer enquiries:
So what is Consumer Queries for?

Well I can tell you it is NOT for asking how to DIY your Hair Nails or Beauty treatments
It is for non Pros to ask about training to become a Pro, what advice we can give on hair/nail/skin problems and what professional services and products (retail) would be best for them.

Sorry.

I will be getting my hair done by a professional who is trained in loreal rather then Wella. As she is not 100% on this product I thought I could use Salon Geek for help but not to worry I will go to my local Sallys.

Thank anyway :)

I wouldn't rely on Sallys to give you good advice. The girls in there are mostly just sales staff and not trained hairdressers. They are notorious for giving terrible advice to people, a friend of mine for example ended up with burns on her scalp after following the advice of a sallys staff member.
