Hi there,

I've just had a weave fitted always had bonds previously. Can anyone give me some tips / best practise on how to wash and dry a weave to make it last as long as possible and stay in the best condition?

Should you apply shampoo/conditioner directly to the plaited bits of hair?

I only got them done on Wednesday but I think I was so excited I forgot to really take in what the girl told me re washing/drying!

Make sure you got heaps of time on your hands, do not apply products directly onto your extension roots as they can fall out! When towel drying don't rub them how you would without them in by rubbing as it can cause knots and matte the extensions, blow drying I found took me about half hour to blow dry clients hair and straighten once blow dried 100%
