Hey fellow geekers:) Anything ive missed??

Prior to your appointment…
1. Ensure you have at least 2 weeks of hair growth (approx. 1.5cm / ¼ inch)

2. To prevent ingrowing hairs exfoliate the area to be waxed 24 hours prior to your appointment
Aftercare…
1. Exfoliate at least three times a week to prevent ingrowing hairs

2. Moisturise daily

3. As waxing is a heat treatment, it is advisable to avoid further heat stimulation for 24 hours. This includes hot baths, showers, steam rooms, saunas and Jacuzzi baths.

4. Avoid exposure to UV light, including sun beds and sunbathing for 24 hours following treatment as burning can occur.

5. Deodorant should be avoided after underarm waxing for 24-48 hours

6. Make-up should not be worn following facial hair removal for 24-48 hours

7. Tight clothing should be avoided following any waxing treatment for 24-48 hours

8. No false tan application to the area for 24 hours

9. No massage, heat or friction to the area for 24 hours

10. No swimming in chlorinated water for 24 hours

11. No aerobic/exercise for 24 hours

12. Re-book your treatment approximately 4 weeks following your appointment.
Please Note
Waxing treatments are very stimulating and so a heat reaction may be observed on the skin for several hours following treatment. This will vary from a mild redness to a much stronger skin reaction. If post treatment advice is followed the skin will return to normal within 24 hours. In the very rare occasion that the reaction is still present after this time, it may be that you have had an allergic reaction to the treatment and therefore seek the advice of a pharmacist or GP. If you have any concerns at all please do not hesitate to contact me.

Please ALWAYS disclose any relevant medical allergies or illness which may affect outcome of procedure as we hold NO responsibility in the event of an adverse reaction due to lack of medical background allergies or illness.

You've obviously had great training and been given great course notes, so just be confident and do it…………then if you have a problem ask specific questions and loads of us will help you. It seems as though you're just asking us to check you course notes for you. Be brave!

Thanks Kim, these are notes from research...totally different matter but my training wasn't great, there's been a few complaints regarding the same provider and I'm pushing ahead with one myself - if only I'd have done the research on training providers beforehand!!! I would have loved to come do it with you. If I'd have known then what I know now haha, isn't hindsight a wonderful thing:)

It is about confidence now I think I just want to make sure I have the theory side all perfect in my head. Practise practise practise now:) xx thank you millions again! X

As soon as I have all 'basic waxing' nailed ill be calling to book intimate waxing with you xx look forward to meeting you xx

Oh I'm sorry……..thought they were your course notes. Best to gather up all your waxing questions and put them on the one thread though. x
