hi can someone tell me please what is the differance between what is considered as a contraindication, to what is considered as a special care?:irked:

Contraindications to waxing requiring a medical referral would be Diabetes for example.

Contraindications PREVENTING treatment would be a skin disorder

Contraindications RESTRICTING treatment (special care) would be moles, bruises, cuts, sunburn, prickly heat etc.

So special care means you can do the treatment but you have to avoid the mole or cut etc.

Or if the client has a patch of psoriasis you would wax everywhere else but this little section.

Does this help?
