Just wondering what would you do if you was doing a Brazilian and their hair was a lil longer than expected and the wax wouldn't come off?? How would you get it off with out hurting the client?

if you are using hot wax this shouldn't really be a problem maybe more painful for the client. I usually just chat away to the client and trim with scissors at the same time so they aren't thinking oh god im hairy! Generally the bit that will need trimming will be the labia hair as it can be tricky and tangle if it's really long. If it's a strip wax sometimes putting talc on top and then a thin layer of wax and pushing hard with the strip will get it off but it will be painful and there is a risk of skinning the client.

You'd trim it before, although of course this doesn't remove density, it only removes length.

It sounds like you are using strip wax?

If the wax is not coming off you would need to put more wax over the top, press your strip in, get a good grip of the strip as close to the waxed area as possible, make sure you are pulling the skin as tight as possible with your other hand and make sure your client is pulling her skin tight as well - remove the strip with power, making sure you pull the strip back on itself and not upwards.

For this treatment, cut the strip in half lengthways as this will allow you more control and precision and less hair breakage.

If you are using hot wax you would still apply more wax and use pretty much the same technique as above but use the normal hot wax process to remove.
