I have a client who I have been colouring with 44/44 for the last year she is 70% grey she usually has her roots touched up every 5 weeks but went 7 this time so had a slightly bigger regrowth, I usually use 10ml 4/0 and 20ml 44/44 and 30ml 6% on the roots for 25 mins and then mix up 44/44 and 3% and water down ends for last 15 mins usually have a fab result! However this time we noticed that is looks lighter at the roots not block but like a highlight effect, is this cos she had a bigger regrowth? Should I of added more base?
Any ideas would be fab client is not disatisfied and paid however I get thR feeling that she may want it filled in soon lol
Any ideas peeps??
Xx

Thanks honey is it purey just the case that this was a bigger regrowth then? As using 44/44 which has double base and then I added additional 4/0 I've never had this happen before hence why I'm blaming a bigger regrowth to cover lol! If she asks me to go over it am I best to do what u say mix 4/0 and 44/44 equal parts with 3% to cover ? X thanks In advance x
