hey there,
was in dispensary/stock control of the salon, and noticed a little hanging thing that looked like a little washing line of about 10 inches long and width holding around 8-10 little glass cynlinders of coloured powder by wella with a little pump action to take out a "shot" of colour.
they were not labellled by number, but by word such as rose, ash, pearl, violet, gold, copper, red, etc.

i have never came across these so far and am intrigued by a new colouring technique/product that ive never seen before. im always so excited to discover new things in hairdressing! what a saddo lol!:smack:

when i asked collegue that had been at the salon for years she explained to me that wella have discontinued this product years ago and theyre like the powder version of special mix (as i have thought) and each "pump shot" of powder is equivlent to one cm of special mix. but that was all she knew on the product, she didnt even know what it was called!

anyway, noone is going to use it so im going to ask if i can give this little product a home, theyre all in mint condition and hardly used! so im planning to take this little "washing line" home with me and experiment with some old bleached extensions and mixsome together to find new colours, can anyone provide me with some more knowledge on this product and some mixing ideas? theres violet, rose, red, copper, gold, ash, green, pearl, and i think a couple more! which peroxide would i mix these with and does anyone know the ratio of mixing these (per pump shot) to tint? (was just going to use 10/0 for a clear colour result) and what is this product actully called???? ive tried googling wella colour granules, powder etc but nothing! always comes up with blondor! BAHHH!! i just find it annoying that i dont know much about this and i want to have a little experiemnt!

so can anyone share some mixing ideas, and most importantly, any knowledge on this product and what its actully called? someone has got to know something on this little mystery!

May be Wella Inspire

yes wella inspire, just googled name! can anyone tell me more info and mixing ideas? plus ratio to tint and peroxide?

in my salon we have the same, the insipre, we also have a wella natural hair colouring power you mix with water :/, i would mix 10/0 with 6% or use the pastell and add 1 or 2 shots of the insipre, as youre only toning the hair, adding depth ect it would only need a 3% if its already bleached but if lifting 1 level then use 6% :)
