Hi geeks, just popped over from nails for some advice. Looking to get my hair this sort of purple (don't want it too plum or any reddish tones) & have been recommended wella colours. Would 55/66 with a special mix like 0/66 or 0/68 work do you think? My base colour is about a 5. I won't be doing the colouring myself, my sister is the hairdresser but we don't use wella at our salon so I thought I'd ask the experts! Our colour range don't have anything purple enough unfortunately, it's all plum or red :( thanks for any help! xx

I would recommend Wella colour but I would use colour touch semi permanent shade 55/65 with the /68 mix tone the 5 in the colour is mahogany but by putting the /68 mix tone in then it makes it more of a bluey purple rather than a reddy/plummy purple. I'd use it with 4% peroxide as this makes the tones more vibrant. Hope this helps!
