Hi any advice pls....
What's the thoughts on wella kol 12.96 on a natural regrowth (base 7)
My clients usually has a full head bleach foils with a toner after but she wants a blonde colour but to match her ends. She wants to stop the bleach. She has been told to try this colour but I don't use wella at the salon so don't know anything about this colour. Can anyone advise please ??,

I’m not really keen on highlift products as it really depends on the hair you’re working with. Anything naturally lower than an 8 with warmth usually ends up looking quite brassy as there’s not enough colour pigment in the HL to tone out the yellow properly.
Why does she not want bleach?
It will give her a cleaner lift using a lower vol peroxide, so overall much less damage.

Clients know best.

Thanks for reply. I'm not keen I'm high lift at all I always use bleach 6% and toner after. The problem is she doesn't get the fact that hair grows .... so roots come through .... and she hates it and she is worried about condition. She has a lovely silver look and gets a lot of compliments but hates roots so is therefore wanting in done often. Where I have 2 other clients who have the same look but embrace the darker roots into the silver white and looks amazing. I just don't know what else to put on this regrowth that isn't going to look brassy ......

If she is silver then it needs to be lift and tone, cannot be done with highlift, if she is worries about condition introduce her to olaplex or a good nourishing home care range x

Thanks for response exactly what I thought, no way a high lift will lift the roots to blend with previous tone.

i changed a client from full head of bleach foils to foils 12-1 & 12% and 10-1 3% in between the foils on the roots. shes a strawberry blonde naturally. on another darker client (prob a level 7) i did the same foils with 10-1 & 6% at the root. lovely pale blonde result as the silver tones out ant orange/yellow.

I have the same problem with a client her previous hairdresser uses high lift with bleach mixed together..
Her ends are clean 10 and says she just doesn’t want the brassy roots I was thinking 12/89 as she doesn’t want bleach ?

Do you mean a highlift with bleach added to the highlift mix? Or some foils with the highlift and alternate foils with bleach?

Hi in with the mix so in one bowl
