Wella purple hair!

Hi guys,
I've a new client not had her hair coloured for 18 months. Her hair looks as if it was a 77/46 that has faded and is only on the last 5inches Her natural colour is around a level 5 and has about 8" natural hair. She wants vibrant purple but says 55/66 is too dark and she wants it a bit brighter. Looking for suggestions? Do you think I could use a 77/46 and use /66 to make it more violet? Or use a higher peroxide with 55/65? I don't really want to prelighten but will do if have to!

For vibrant purples, I use either a direct dye on pre-lightened hair or something like Goldwell Elumen VV.
You could try a quick strand test first?

I hadprelighten but I have a question on elumen, is it available in the uk as I have never seen it in my suppliers and is it really hard to get out?
