Hi wanting to match a 9/7 Wella to Loreal? As I was originally trained in Loreal (a long time ago) and try to avoid colouring to be honest! What is the 7 on a well colour wheel?
Also have a lady 90% white. Using a base 6 and 1/4 7.31 for a bit of warmth (but can go a bit too warm on mids and ends) Colour just seems to not take so great on roots?? almost to a 7/8 and translucent looking. thinking of trying 6.0 on own?? she doesn't want it any darker though or should I try pre softening??? thoughts please?
Thanks!

/7 is brunette. All the warm tones plus violet.

The 7 (brunette tone) in wella is patented so no one else has that tone, i think the closest is mocha which is .8.

I found this when i was working in a loreal salon, i thought every colour was very glossy and translucent, its such a diffent look if you are used to koleston x

Thank you, Always found Loreal covered really well. Only just lately felt its let me down! Loreal don't really offer a brunette tone just trying to match from my shade chart. :/

Mocha is similar but I would just match on the shade chart to what she has now. Say she just walked in off the street and said Colour my hair and had no history you would have to match it to something
