Wella to Matrix

I've been using wella for 10years and recently my boss changed to matrix, we've all had a few minor problems with colours being but too dark etc as were getting used to them!
On my client for years ive done 1/2 foils 1 x bleach 6%, 1 x 9/0 6%, 1 x 7/73 6% and so this time on matrix I used, bleach, 9n, and 7w but she phoned up and it's too dull, I think it's the 9n so what should I do? 9g x 9% or 10g x 9% to lift it abit and add tone? Or any other advice?... I no colour doesn't lift colour but it will zbit, she also has White hair (hence using 6%)???

it could be the base colour, 9n they can turn out very ashy it they are not mixed with a tone like 9g, especially on white hair that has no natural pigment..

well if i where u id have a good chat and get it out of her what she really means by too dull? she might think its too dark in that case easy you could just place a few more bleach highlights in the top for now.. then change your colour choice on her next app..

or you could add in some gold yes but in my experience getting a light colour warm again after its been ashy is a nightmare and it might make her hair darker..
or worse still green!!!! (yellow + blue = green)

its really hard to say without looking at it... most brands have a technical help line u can ring, if you dont know the number you can google it or ask your salon rep..

Thanks, I recon bleach will make it more ashy and dull tho, so decided to scatter 10g 9% and bleach throughout!

Maybe color graphics might be an option?

Hi yes I thought about that I think I might do that with the higher or lower peroxide as it's White hair underneath?

Sorry to keep posting, I'm going to use banana colour graphics with promoter 8! That was my original idea anyway but one of the girls at work said no!

go with promoter 8, as you dont want any more lift than that. Its 1-4 levels of lift. hths xoxo

Don't bother with 8 I always do 22 get the best result....just thinking out loud it sounds very gold with 9g and banana pigment graphics? Does she like it gold?

Ok yea good point, think il just stick with the banana colour graphics and just do it over the 9n, as I think that will go well! Well we do bleach for ash blonde, 7w to blend with darker and we used to do 9/0 like a warm bright blonde so I think the banana will lift it perfectly as it's just dull and very ash at the moment

I done what I said and it worked a treat!
