Hi there
Level 3 student here, my daughter has copper undertones and yesterday i lightened her hair (balayage & babylights) and used Illumina 10/69 to tone.
Its partially worked but just isnt quite right.
Can anyone help with a better mix to get it really ashy blonde?
Thanks all.

What level did you lighten too

You need to choose a toner based on the level the hair has reached. If it only lifted to an 8, you’d have to use a level 8 to tone or go back and lift it further.

Remember your lightening curve and underlying pigments.

Thank you. I dont think it did go all the way through the curve. If i had to lift more than once is it best to wash/condition/dry inbetween?

No, that’s not necessary but keep an eye on the condition before deciding on a second application of bleach.
