Hi, I’m a newly qualified nail tech and confused as to why my clients acrylics (with short bitten nails)will just NOT stay onReally confusing as my clients with non bitten nails, acrylics will stay on for 2/3 weeks.... any Advice?

Because the balance is all wrong until there is some natural nail length. Thats why the general rule of thumb is that the free edge shouldn't be more than half the length of the nail bed. You can create a better looking enhancement with coverage powder to disguise the real hypernychium but the extension edge shouldn't be longer than that. Any longer and they will 'see-saw' and lift at the cuticle due to the stress

AND biters will always have them in their mouths 'testing' them - subconsciously usually - this creates more stresses too

Thanks for help x
