Hi, nipped over from hair! I cant seem to find the right gelish colour, what i want is a metallic very dark (almost black) grey/charcoal!!!! The lady who does my nails only stocks a jet black and a silvery/grey, she also says gelish dont do the colour i want???? ive looked on their site but cant find anything! I may try somewhere else for my nails as where i go now doesnt have a chart for me to look at, so i have to go with their limited range! Is there such a colour?????? Thanks

Hiya, you should check out the Gelish lovers group on here, there's loads of photos on there and you might find what you're looking for. I can't really help as I'm only doing my Gelish training tomorrow lol x

I think midnight caller is the darkest grey

Try one layer of black shadow then one coat midnight caller. Should give more depth to the grey. Hth

Jet Set is also a very dark grey.

Midnight caller is the darkest grey and as has been suggested you could get 2 coats black with midnight caller on top or get your nail tech to custom mix black with a little midnight caller through it until you get the shade you want. Alternatively you could go to a nail tech who has shellac as they have a georgeous dark grey called asphalt. hth x

Midnight Caller is on the left and Jet Set is on the right in this picture. Hope this helps.

If you don't mind me asking, how did you get the names of the colours printed out on your colour pops JuicyLucy?

2 coats of Deep Sea with Taffeta over the top makes stunning dark grey/black pearl colour. I've got it on now, looks fab x

Its an example of my extreme OCD!!

I buy clear sticky labels (but you could do it with acetate) and print on them in very small type font. I then cut out the name and stick it onto the colorpop and then cover it in a small amount of selotape (they come loose otherwise). It does take time but I think they look very professional. I have over 100 colours done like that :D

Brilliant! i'm going to do this, thanks!
