hello everyone...the clip i was refering to was not nail art...it was for acrylic enhancement........i thought it looked quite impressive but i dont know much about it x

I have just watched that clip above and i am sorry but its terrible....tip sized...tip dipped underside into powder...smoothed with another tip....2 drops of liquid applied.....pressed onto nail and held on with a clamp....then cut tip down to size....then scoop white powder into tip area....smoothed with another tip....1 drop of liquid....turn hand over again and white block....top gloss enamel !!!!.....sorry but PANTS

here is the gel version....

If you check the previous links on the site they state that the infill is done the same way as usual.
All I can say is we should get some geeks opinions who have actually TRIED this type of method to comment on it so we can get a true opinion before we knock it.:wink2:

I agree, however I think you would be hard pushed to find a decent tech who is willing to consider working in this way. Also, did you see the state of that womans brush?? Certainly in one of the shots it was flayed with stray hairs all over the place!

my comments were about the latest clip...(above my last post) not the one you mentioned.

yes thats the one i meant too x

so when you started this thread it was regarding the clip posted by Artsy Canadian....?????.....if so what are you on about brushes for...there wasn't 1 single brush used in this clip ?????? :grr:

i started the thread regarding that clip above....sorry about the brush...getting mixed up..i must be going mad or something! lol...i did see the brush somewhere lol x

Ahhh! without even watching I presumed the first clip posted was the second clip - the second clip is the one I have seen before. Still laughable!!! What utter rubbish! :irked::irked::irked:

You say you dont know much about methods annabanna - but surely from reading on here and basic knowledge you would see how bad the clip is???

yes i do have some knowledge but like i said...thats one i hadnt come accross before...i have only been on this site a few weeks and have read alot but GOD DAMN theres so much to read lol.....

do you mean the clip.....or .....the clip! haha no im sorry im not really sure of the reasons its not good but id like to know...obviously ive asked myself questions about it...like...would they actually last and is it likely to damage the nail plate etc...but i dont know the answers...still waiting for someone to tell me lol

Gives a whole new use for clothes pegs! Don't think I fancy having my nails pegged when I have them done, but each to their own I guess, but not for me. far more sophisticated products about.

sorry for being a bit thick! lol but everyone on that thread is saying its utter crap etc etc but nobody is really explaining WHY please somebody out there...why is it such a bad method?

Mianly because when they push the product on the natural nail if you look closely loads of product oozes out by the eponychium. if you repeatedly get product on the client's skin you cause a serious risk of over exposure (ie an allergy to the product). Also of course the product will lift as there is not a seal around the nail. Plus it's faffy and time consuming ... and then we won't even mention the pegs!!!!

and what a lovely ridge you'll have growing up from behind the nail after a few weeks....i think this was all said on the link that Artsy Canadian kindly posted.

my first impressions were that it looked quite good...shows what i know! lol I didnt think it looked particularly faffy or time consuming and there was alot less filing...but it s not something ive tried or really know anything about like i said but i can see what your saying about over exposure....so would you say that the inverted nail art is the same then and not a good thing?
