I have a small nail bar and I'm struggling to find something to wear that's professional yet comfortable to wear since I'm sat down for 12 hour days sometimes!

I had a few plain black tshirts printed with my logo that I wore with loose black trousers but after a day of acrylics I'm covered in dust, have baggy knees from sitting and my logo has started to wear off after a handful if washing and isn't looking too professional now.

What do you other nail techs wear?

I wear a tunic & black trousers x

I wear a purple tunic and black trousers. They are both made of that horrible material, so it gets hot in the latest weather we've had, but dust comes off very easily with a damp towel.

Sometimes I wear white crop trousers/leggings for a change.

Clients say I look very professional and smart.

I don't think it's essential to wear a specific type uniform, unless required where you work. Anything that's smartish casual and you look tidy, think about most hairdressers, some do wear specific uniform but a lot are just dressed "nicely", just a pair of trousers, black skinny jeans or plain leggings with a nice top or shirt/blouse... Just a mix of looking well dressed and been comfortable at the same time :) x

There are many threads on this if you search hun.
I wear a t shirt with my logo in diamantés from miia boutique or a tunic

Thanks ladies. I'm a 'curvy' lady so these tunics don't fit well and certianly aren't comfortable on me😁😁😁😁

The search goes on......

I am as well. I get lots of compliments on my t shirt though as it's unusual and so comfy x

I just have an apron with my HD brows, LVL lashes & Gelish badges on it - means I get to wear all the lovely clothes I have in my wardrobe and protect them with the apron, whilst still looking professional! X

I wear a tunic but maybe a personalised apron would suit you better. Then you can wear what you like underneath, leggings and Tshirt in Summer and trousers with long sleeved top on winter? I love my tunic but it's been horrible in this heat we've had lately as well as a sunbed is constant use!

Felicity xx

I never even thought about an apron but I think that sounds perfect! Thanks so much ladies xx

I wear black leggings with either my tunic (horrible in hot weather) and on really hot days just a normal tshirt or a cami top with floral print summery but smart and professional x

I wear a hot pink tunic with black trousers. I have my business name on the tunic. I wear an ID badge. When doing waxing I tend to wear a pink tabard to stop getting talk all down me. I am still mobile at the moment but as of this week will be working from home, so could probably give up the id badge.

Even though your post will be no doubt helpful to others, this thread was created and last posted to over 2 years ago ;)
