what to charge for balayage/ombre

What is everyone charging for balayage and ombre highlighting? I've not got a clue how to price it?:lol:

I give an exact price on consultation, but I base it on the cost of 1/2 head foils.

I've heard it being referred to as Californian high lights and surfer blonde also? It's when the roots are dark blending into light ends.
Tbh I haven't done this for months, hope it's not going out of trend already, I love doing it

How does it work on prehilighted clients though, say heavily blonded ends and dark roots, would u tint them all over first? then apply the hilights
