please advice, i did a spray tan on a 15 yr old , it was a rainy day but by the time the customer left it had stopped she looked fine leaving my house a few hours later i went to shop and there was my customer outside shops just hanging and it was a but gray and over cast few hours after that i saw her again but she looked like she had never had a spray tan at all!!!, i asked her if she had washed it off, she said no, the next day the mother come shouting at me i had done a very bad spray on her daughter. did the weather have somthing to do with it? or was it me? i have done 15 in the past and never had a cpmplaint... until now please advice its really upset me x

not sure about the weather. But maybe was her skin? Did she do prep care before her tan. also 15 is a very hormonal age so that could have alot to do with it.

Dont worry if you knwo you have done your job then its not your fault.
Maybe offer a respray FREE or half price to correct it but if its her skin theres little can be done.

And if the mother goes on like that , i expect shed complain every time.So stand your ground

the mother said she scrubed her but in the session she was going green under the arms, she addmitted she put b.o. spray on the night before!! but would hanging around on the streets for hours make a difference and i can only guess but her boyfriend was with her cuddling up too.

i would say its highly possible.

The mother says she scrubbed her?

It sounds like this girl didnt really care and went out and did whatever! she have a coat on and jeans ? as this soaks up the tan. Her mother scrubbed her? shes 15 if she hangs in street snogging bf then sounds like mother dont bath her child. Sounds that the girl did what she like after tan. !!!

dont worry at all xxxx

thank you for advice, but mother is making big problems for me now, do i keep my opinons to myself and just re spray or tell her the possible reasons why it didnt go as planned??

Was the mother not with the girl at the time of the appointment? I would never treat an under 16 without a parent there.

Was the girl wearing suitable clothes afterwards? It sounds to me like the client didn't give a toss about any pre- or post-tan care, so it more likely something the client has or hasn't done rather than a problem with what you've done.
