Thank you!

from looking at your profile , it says to me that you arent qualified as nothing is filled out ,
why on earth would you want to buy gel that anyone can buy? and not go on training :rolleyes:

Well because I am a qualified spray tanner and I would like to have nice nails. It doesn't look good to clients if it looks like i can't even look after myself. So i want my nails to last that little bit longer, instead of always having chipped nails. I see there are lots kits available for anyone to buy and im just wondering the best to buy.

There are lots of kits you can buy to do spray tanning at home too. Do you think they are as good as the professional tans you do?

Either get some training and buy into a professional brand which you can then offer to your clients or find a good nail technician. In most areas it works out to around £10 per week to have your nails professionally gel polished

Hey you should fill out your profile at the moment it says you don't do tanning not sure if you realised this or not  x

As you arealready a spray tanner, you should look into doing some training in manicures or nail enhancements as this would be a good add on service for you.
This is a site for professionals, and although we have this consumer section, which you have quite rightly posted your question in, we would never recommend professional products to an untrained person as this would be irresponsible.

Most of the kits you will have seen to buy will not be of good quality and will just be a waste of money.:irked:
I do agree it will make a difference if your hands and nails look nice when you are tanning people, and your clients may enquire where you get them done...so why not look into doing some proper training (loads of info on here about that) get insured and then introduce it into your business. :)

failing that you could always do a swap with a nail tech maybe offer a fake tan or 2 for a set or gel polish nails or extensions what ever ur after?

Doesn't matter if it's the best gel in the world if you aren't trained to use it , the results will be rubbish.

It would be a waste of your money to buy it and do it yourself. It will be a lot more cost effective to pay someone professional to do it.

I like the idea of a treatment swap too, do you know anyone trained in nails ?

you people should be more polite. sure, you have something to protect, promote, but no need to disrespect. it;s nails, not cosmetic surgery, ease up!

Are you looking at the same thread as me??

I think she's been given some really good advice here and no one has been rude.
